Presenting a fun part of our community's love of the Arts. RCP is a dedicated community theatre producing seven shows each season in an intimate, 84 seat facility just east of downtown Rockwall, Texas. You'll find drama, comedy, musicals and programs for children and teens. We hope to see you at a performance or audition soon!

Is the visionary and dynamic Pastor of New Hope Baptist Church in Royse City, Texas, a leadership
role he assumed in May 2016. At New Hope, he passionately leads a congregation committed to being a
powerful light in the community. With a preaching style that is both engaging and relatable, Pastor
Grays inspires and connects with congregants, making biblical truths accessible and impactful for
everyday life.
Under his dedicated leadership, New Hope Baptist Church has received significant recognition,
including a prestigious Texas historical marker that celebrates its rich heritage and enduring impact as a
historically African American church, founded in 1859, even before Rockwall County and Royse City
existed. His commitment to community engagement and historical preservation is further highlighted by
numerous proclamations from the Governor, the Texas Senate, Texas House of Representatives and
Royse City, acknowledging the church's vital role and historical significance.
Rev. Grays's educational journey includes graduating from Lincoln High School, followed by studies at
Texas A&M Commerce and Wesley College. His deep roots in the community and dedication to service
are cornerstones of his impactful ministry.
Beyond the pulpit, Pastor Grays is a devoted family man. He has been happily married to Jennifer Grays
for 26 years, and together they are blessed with four children and two grandsons. His life and ministry
reflect a profound commitment to faith, family, and the flourishing of the wider community.

It all started when Vicky Keahey, a veterinarian technician helped care for a female cougar, named Tahoe. When the big cat was well the owners never picked her up. Vicky took her home.

Big cats are NOT like house cats and require more than you might think. This organization, which had a small start, has grown to care for many animals and you can join them to help. 

Linda Gonzales – Director of Education first learned about In-Sync Exotics in 2013, when she moved to Sachse. She met Kazuri on that visit, was immediately smitten and adopted him at that time, followed by several more adoptions through the years. She was a volunteer approximately 10 years ago cleaning cages, with some of her favorite memories being able to “babysit” Raven the cougar following her surgery, feeding treats to Mystery under the direction of her keeper at the time, and working in the Visitor Center welcoming people to In-Sync and ensuring they enjoyed their visit. Linda had to step away when her mom got sick (she was Chance’s adoptive mom for many years). After her mom and her husband both passed away, her daughter and son-in-law started a new Mother’s Day tradition of taking she and her sister to In-Sync for the day, as they know how much she loved visiting.

Linda says she is “grateful to Vicky and the Board for this opportunity to be the new Director of Education. I know I have huge shoes to fill in following Laura Czekala for this role; and I look forward to learning from her and the others who are so instrumental in helping give tours to our visitors. Being the Project Manager for the recent In-Sync Exotics Whisker Wishes Gala and working with everyone who made that event happen, just reinforced my love and support of all of the animals in our care, and all of the people here who make this sanctuary possible”.

Bobby Gallana is the Rockwall County Commissioner for Precinct 1, sworn in on January 1, 2025. A lifelong resident of Rockwall County, he moved to Rockwall in 1983, graduated from Rockwall High School, Jacket Fight Never Dies, and returned after a corporate career that took him to West Texas, Missouri, Oklahoma and Canada. Since being sworn in, Bobby has emphasized infrastructure development, enhanced subdivision rules, fiscal responsibility and transparent government. Today he is here to talk to us about the Texas Mid-Decade Redistricting and its impact on Rockwall County. Let’s give a warm Rotary Club welcome to Commissioner Bobby Gallana.

We were sons and daughters. Now we are friends joined together by a shared tragedy. We lost our mothers to a knock on a door.

To repeat – a knock on a door. He shouldn’t have been able to walk down their hall and knock on their doors.

We paid for oversight. We thought they were safe. They were not.

We are wives, husbands, mothers, fathers, grandparents, sisters, and brothers. We are daughters, sons, nieces, and nephews. We are working so you don’t have to live our tragedy.

Since our own tragic events, we’ve visited countless communities and have observed a gaping hole in basic on-site security.
Our mission is to advocate for the implementation of essential security measures in senior living communities and to help guide families in selecting the safest and most secure senior living environments for their loved ones.

Speaker: Angel Butler - Understanding Probate Legalese

Angel Butler is the Director of Operations at Atrium Legal Group, a Rockwall-based law firm.

Angel graduated Cum Laude from Boise State University with her bachelor’s degree in communications and minor in political science. She uses that degree to bridge the language gap between the attorneys and the clients. She is fluent in translating Legalese into understandable English.

Angel is married to one of the founding partners of Atrium Legal Group, Mr. Jeff Butler. 

Angel and Jeff have been happily married for more than 26 years and have four amazing children, Emerson, A.J., Chloie, and Lauren, and three adorable puppies: Hopper, Cookie, and Bogey. In her spare time Angel volunteers with her Church, and with other charity groups in Rockwall.

Occasionally, she finds time to read a good book or watch a cheesy movie.

Michael Dikovitsky, Director of the Texas Emergency Crisis Response Team, a Non-Profit 501 (c) (3) Organization. Michael has spent most of his career in law enforcement as a Dallas Police Officer, Federal Agent, Counselor, Ordained Minister and Chaplain 

Specialty: Helping a First Responder Survive a Traumatic Event Through Spiritual and Mental Health Counseling and Peer Support.
