Mar 30, 2026 - May 13, 2026
Our annual Clay Shoot is our major scholarship fund raiser. It will be held Thursday, May 14th. If you are not participating as a team member on one of the shooting teams, our expectation is you will volunteer that day to help make the event a success. This shoot will be conducted the same as those in the past — volunteers arrive at 9:00 and the shoot will run from 10:30-4:00,followed by the afterparty social from 4:00-6:00. Its an all hands on deck event, so please block your calendar.
We will need volunteers to help setup, place signs, assist in parking, register the teams, assist in handing out ammunition to the teams, man the stations to pull & score, assist in the raffle, and after party. There is a job for everyone.
It is always a fun day and a wonderful opportunity to work together and socialize. Many hands make every job easy.
If you have any questions, please contact Shane Hollas, Mark Kipphut or Curtis Schaibly. Their numbers can be found in the member tab in Club Runner.
Also, we remind you that every member is responsible to buy or sell ten raffle tickets form $10 each ($100). Please see Beth Johnson during our meetings each week to pick up your tickets. The more raffle tickets we sell, the more funds we will have to assist Rockwall students by deferring the high cost of attending college. North Texas Veteran’s Court
May 28, 2026 12:00 PM
Veterans Court is a diversion program for Justice-Involved Veterans (JIV) who are facing prosecution for one or more criminal cases. The program offers offenders a treatment option that is judicially supervised. It is designed to divert JIV out of the traditional criminal justice process and into appropriate treatment/rehabilitative alternatives. Once the JIV has been screened, assessed, and approved for participation in the program, he/she will promptly begin a treatment regimen that is specific to his/her needs. |
