The executive board gathers to conduct the business of the club. This meeting qualifies as a make up for general members.

We were sons and daughters. Now we are friends joined together by a shared tragedy. We lost our mothers to a knock on a door.

To repeat – a knock on a door. He shouldn’t have been able to walk down their hall and knock on their doors.

We paid for oversight. We thought they were safe. They were not.

We are wives, husbands, mothers, fathers, grandparents, sisters, and brothers. We are daughters, sons, nieces, and nephews. We are working so you don’t have to live our tragedy.

Since our own tragic events, we’ve visited countless communities and have observed a gaping hole in basic on-site security.
Our mission is to advocate for the implementation of essential security measures in senior living communities and to help guide families in selecting the safest and most secure senior living environments for their loved ones.

We’re thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity to make a difference in our community! On Monday, September 29, our club is partnering with Meals on Wheels to deliver Snack Bags to those in need. This is a fantastic chance to spread joy and show the heart of Rotary service in action!
Details of the Event:
•  Date & Time: Monday, September 29, at 9:00 AM
•  Location: 4398 Hwy 276, Rockwall (to pick up routes and snack bags)
•  What to Expect: Deliver snack bags to brighten someone’s day! You can volunteer solo, team up with your spouse or family, or ride along with a fellow Rotarian—your choice!
How to Get Involved:

Speaker: Angel Butler - Understanding Probate Legalese

Angel Butler is the Director of Operations at Atrium Legal Group, a Rockwall-based law firm.

Angel graduated Cum Laude from Boise State University with her bachelor’s degree in communications and minor in political science. She uses that degree to bridge the language gap between the attorneys and the clients. She is fluent in translating Legalese into understandable English.

Angel is married to one of the founding partners of Atrium Legal Group, Mr. Jeff Butler. 

Angel and Jeff have been happily married for more than 26 years and have four amazing children, Emerson, A.J., Chloie, and Lauren, and three adorable puppies: Hopper, Cookie, and Bogey. In her spare time Angel volunteers with her Church, and with other charity groups in Rockwall.

Occasionally, she finds time to read a good book or watch a cheesy movie.

Michael Dikovitsky, Director of the Texas Emergency Crisis Response Team, a Non-Profit 501 (c) (3) Organization. Michael has spent most of his career in law enforcement as a Dallas Police Officer, Federal Agent, Counselor, Ordained Minister and Chaplain 

Specialty: Helping a First Responder Survive a Traumatic Event Through Spiritual and Mental Health Counseling and Peer Support.

Secondary: Training Crisis Response Chaplains Nationwide

Join us 10/23/25 to assemble “treat bags” for an area nursing home TBD.

A sign up sheet for items to put into the bags will be available in the meetings prior to assembling.
