Happy New Year to everyone!
The beginning of a new year lets us consider what we’ve done so far and plan for new opportunities. We have accomplished a lot in the last six months, and your board has much more in store for the next half of the year! We will continue working on a new five-year strategic plan, dedicating the Rotary Peace Pole in San Jacinto Square, reviewing scholarship applications, and gearing up for the big Clay Shoot fundraiser in May and the new “Rockwall’s Got Talent” fundraiser next fall. This will be in addition to continuing the great projects, programs, and networking opportunities we’ve planned so far.
There are a lot of good things happening in the Rockwall Rotary Club. I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I also hope you will continue to be involved in our quest to Unite for Good!
