We gathered for our usual meeting but this time our speaker presented anything but the usual. Memorial Day is a special time for our nation. We celebrate our freedom but it is tempered by our remembrance of thouse who gave everything for us to enjoy it.
Josh Chitwood presented the other side of Memorial Day. The side that remembers not just with honor and thanks but with tears and sorrow. The families and the friends who are missing from our world leave gaps in our society. He shared stories and gave us opportunity to connect with others and FEEL their loss. It was very moving.
