It’s February, and love is in the air. Love for our family, love for our friends, and love for our community. In these turbulent times, there is also a yearning for peace around the world. This month, I will be appearing before the Rockwall City Council to promote our upcoming Peace Pole Dedication Ceremony. I am hopeful to get on their agenda on February 17th – I hope you will join me there. Stay tuned for more details.
I hope you got the opportunity to join us at the 5th Thursday Chili cook-off last week! It is always fun to socialize together. We are also getting geared up for the Clay Shoot fundraiser, scholarship committee meetings, community service projects, and many other Rotary projects. If you know of someone who is interested in joining Rotary, please bring them as a guest! This is a great time to get involved!
