Rockwall Rotary,

As we finish the first quarter of this Rotary year, I am reflecting on the privilege it is to serve our club as your president. We have a lot to look forward to before we ring in the new year, including our Chili Cook-off on October 29 and Rockwall Talent Live on November 7.  And each month we will have a service project with which I encourage each of you to participate.

I hope all of you will plan to attend our regular meeting on October 8 when DG Callahan will conduct his visit.

Our program speakers have been excellent in the variety and content.  We're booked up through January but if you have suggestions on future speakers, please reach out to Russ Caldwell.

Lastly, we are down to the wire on gathering sponsorships for Rockwall Talent Live.  The event is sure to be a success for our community, but additional financial support will make it a success for our club as well.

Thanks for all that you do!

Yours in service,

Kayne Pierce

Stories About What We Do...

Fourth Thursday Social: 2nd Annual Chili Cook Off

Our Social was so fun. We had close to 30 people gathered at President Kayne Pierce’s home. We ate some very yummy Chili too.

For the second year Dana Macalik took first place. The other winners were Mary Liechty and Darby’s husband Curt Nielsen.
