Our Student of Honor for this week is from Rockwall-Heath High School.
Today we celebrated Christian Contreras, Student of Honor for Rockwall-Heath High School. His principal is Todd Bradford. He was presented by Vice Principal Eric Torrence. Christian is an exceptional student and athlete. He is a senior this year. He maintains a 4.7 GPA while taking A/P classes and is also captain of the football team. He is ranked as the #3 receiver in the Dallas area. During his junior year, he sustained a foot injury, breaking his foot in half and he worked hard to return to football after that injury. He has a very positive outlook on life. He is passionate about his work with non-profit organization YMSL (Young Men's Service League), which is a service organization comprised of mothers and sons. They serve Helping Hands, Meals on Wheels, SHP, and other charitable organizations around Rockwall. Congratulations, Christian!! The Student of Honor luncheon was sponsored by Rockwall Crossing - Bart Miller and Happy State Bank - Kayne Pierce.
