School has started and fall activities are gearing up.  That means that our Student of Honor presentations will begin this month. Yay!  I love seeing these amazing students and their parents come to get recognized.  We live in such an exceptional community, and our schools do a great job of selecting these extraordinary kids.  We will also get a visit from some other incredible high school students who are on the board of the Rockwall High School Interact Club.  I hope you will take the time to meet all of these young leaders.     

At the end of August, the Club Board of Directors made a decision to form a new Strategic Planning Committee to plan for the future of the Rockwall Noon Rotary Club.  This is a requirement in our bylaws and long over-due; while we have a very active and giving Club, there is always room for improvement.  If you have any ideas regarding potential future growth and goals, please reach out to me, Committee Chair Darby Nielsen, or one of the committee members.
