Rotary offers us so many opportunities to give back to our community and the world. This past month, we had a moving dedication ceremony for our new Rotary Peace Pole in downtown Rockwall and participated in numerous public service opportunities including Blue Sunday with the Children’s Advocacy Center. We selected high school scholarship winners and those who will attend the Rotary Youth Leadership Award camp on behalf of our club. We attended the Interact banquet and were introduced to fascinating speakers during our luncheon programs. And our board continues to work on so much more behind the scenes.
The upcoming Rotary Clay Shoot fundraiser is scheduled for May 14th which helps to pay for many of these efforts - so don’t forget to sign up to volunteer.

Community members gathered with the Children's Advocacy Center for Rockwall County April 26 at San Jacinto Plaza in Downtown Rockwall Texas for Blue Sunday, a national day of prayer focused on preventing child abuse.
Held at the Peace Pole recently installed by Rockwall Rotary, the non-denominational event centered on reflection, unity, and a shared commitment to protecting children—beneath the powerful message, “May Peace Prevail on Earth.”

The Rockwall Noon Rotary Club unanimously voted today to nominate Past District Governor John Curtis as the District 5810 Representative to the Council on Legislation.
